While you are busy getting your home ready for family and friends, don’t forget to prep your home for your pets and any furry visitors. Here are a few tips from Southern Paws & Tails magazine. Click to read the full article.
- Food – keep foods such as turkey, ham, chocolate, nuts, and candy away from dogs and cats
- Decorations – make sure decorations, nativity scenes, and other decor cannot be easily knocked over by your 4-legged friends. If you choose to use real candles, ensure tails, wings, and other pet parts cannot get close to the flame and get singed.
- Potty Breaks – In all the excitement don’t forget to let pets out for a potty break, or just a breather from all the extra excitement.
- Travel – If traveling with your fur-baby, make a list – and check it twice. Make sure you have all needed medication, toys, and other needed supplies.
